Description: MELM is a (German-language) software to generate and check lottery systems and wins for the German State Lottery (6-of-49, "Lotto 6 aus 49"). MELM is freeware for lottery systems with up to 35 tickets, but can be registered to allow for many more. According to the license agreement, the MELM Portable installer will download an original and unmodified copy of the MELM software for you, directly from the author's homepage. MELM Portable is just a "wrapper" around it to make it work smoothly with your PortableApps Menu and keep all your data on the USB stick.

As per February 2011, MELM v6.54 cannot display the drawing results of the German State Lottery »Lotto 6 aus 49« anymore (but the winning numbers can be entered manually and thus your lottery system checked). Also, the functionality of buying online lottery tickets for your system is currently unavailable. All other features, like building, saving, loading and checking lottery systems are still functional.
The program author currently tries to resolve the API issues with the lottery agency involved, Tipp24 SE.
I will keep you informed and update MELM Portable whenever there is a new version that can be portablized.
