Killer Apps ?

I know that there are various threads such as:
Best Programs To Have - https://portableapps.com/node/1986
and
Whats On Your Portable - https://portableapps.com/node/175

My question is which portable apps could you NOT imagine life without?

For me its:
1)
Portable Firefox with Switch Proxy extension. (I can use it on multiple customer sites)

2)
Freemind with locally installed Java. (It's just how I think !)

3)
OpenOffice. I don't use this on a daily basis but it has saved my bacon more than once.

Despite having a full 1GB drive, these would be my top 3.
What would be yours ?

The "killer app" for me is Firefox Portable. Nothing beats having access to your bookmarks wherever you are without the need for a special service (like del.icio.us)! I could easily live without any of the other portableapps so long as I always had Firefox Portable.

maggie Hey, I resent that remark! I only weigh ONE Godzillaton!

Amazing program.
The name underrates the program. It's a small project manager.
Easy to use, small, fast, and coherent. It's obvious that the author is a great programmer.
Just install it and copy the directory to the thumb disk.

(link removed)

I'm about to have a whole-night programming, and I just found this program that helped me get organized invaluably.

For me, it's FireFox,

For me, it's FireFox, OpenOffice.org, and Thunderbird. I just started using TB Portable at the end of last week. As much moving around from machine to machine as I do, these three apps are now completely indispensible. I use OOo even when MSWord is available to me.

I just run all of mine from my iPod.

GaimPortable + TrueCrypt

I've got a 2GB thumb drive with various portable apps, but the one I use most is GaimPortable. I've encrypted the drive with TrueCrypt as well. Awesome site! Thank you John. Smile

Thunderbird portable has changed my life. Having bookmarks come with me is nice, having GAIM everywhere I go is nice, EssentialPIM is excellent, but without Thunderbird portable, I don't think I would've become such a portable apps fan!
