Cookies and Cache

Cookies are in your profile folder in cookies.txt as with all Firefox installations (FirefoxPortable\Data\profile). Cache is disabled and not kept anywhere.

If cache is enabled, the

If cache is enabled, the files go in profile\Cache, unless John changed that in the newest release, but I see no reason to do that.

Then you'd be leaving traces of your history and cache behind on the local machine, unless you "shredded" the temp folder afterwards (deleted files aren't actually deleted--just marked as such by the OS). If you really want this, you can use the latest FFP launcher and set RunLocally to true in the INI.

better would be to

better would be to cache-on-time = deleting everytime I quit it
or as a default - disabling disk cache at all

Disk cache is disabled by default in Firefox Portable. And even if it was enabled, the cache would go on your USB key.
