Difference between Mirror and Clean+Update ?

Hi,

I'm just wondering what the difference is between Mirror and Clean+Update ?

I got a script that takes 15% longer if I run it in Mirror-mode compared to Clean+Update.

for taking so long to reply to this. I am actually quite surprised by this, when I last did some major work on Mirror I found it quicker than doing the two parts individually. Could you tell me what version you are using?
