wow

those are really good.

It took me a second to figure out what sexy apple was (I like!).

What version of the platform are these for? 1.6.1 or 2.0 beta? Or both?

These aren't for 2.0b5

The drivespace area is longer in 2.0b5. They will work in 2.0b5, but it will look a little funky there, and you will have an overlay of the chrome file - so some editing of the patheme.ini is necessary, too.

They are also not packaged quite right for the versions of the menu that support custom themes (1.5.2 and the 2.0 betas, but NOT 1.6 or 1.6.1), there's a lot of unnecessary files in there.

If you want to package them correctly, you can clean them up and convert them to .patheme format pretty easily. I'll show you how to convert the Mario theme, and then you can install them using Options>Theme>.. (browse for .patheme).

Extract all the files.
Browse to ..theme portable application\mario\DefaultData\Theme
Select all the files inside the \Theme folder and zip them to mario.zip.
Rename the file to mario.patheme.

Repeat this for all the other theme folders in the rar.

You don't need any of those other files (such as portableappsbackup.ini, portableappsmenu.ini, or \FolderIcons) and they may mess with your own setup.

For 1.6 and 1.6.1, there isn't support for custom themes. For those, you kind of have to force them in to the Default folder. Again, for mario:
Do the same as above, but don't rename mario.zip to mario.patheme.
Make a backup copy of X:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\App\DefaultData\Themes\Default
Now unzip mario.zip into X:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\App\DefaultData\Themes\Default.

Anyway, the themes are quite nicely done. The only design critique is that the eject and close buttons are the same.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

About Sexy Apple

When I saw it I was like, "Here's a nice theme"... "Very nice"... "Wait a minute... why is it so nice?"

[10 seconds after]

"Ooh... thaaaat's why..." :3

Hehe, anyway, nice themes.

well, I've changed my menu theme to sexy apple

and I think you've got a problem: Your eject/exit buttons are all messed up. They are both set to look like "exit" but when you hover over either one of them, they look like "eject"

Luckily, I knew that the first one is "eject" and the second one is "exit" but I'm not sure others will know.

And from the screenshots, its not just this theme that has the problem, its all of them.

That's the only real suggestion I have right now...
