Truecrypt traveler and Autostart on Windows 7 Help please?

Yesterday I installed the a Truecrypt Traveler and Portable Apps
platform on m Sandisk Cruzer U3 Flash Drive. I have a few questions
about proper configuration as well as some comments.

1.) The autoloader for the Truecrypt Traveler password screen loads
on insert on our Windows XP machines at work, but does not load on
my Windows 7 machine at home. On Windows 7 I get an Options
menu which may mean that teh OS is somehow circumventing the
auto load feature on the Truecrypt Traveler. Do you know of a way of
getting Windows 7 to recognize the autoloader?

2.) The Portable Apps platform does not start automatically when the
Truecrypt partition is loaded. When the partition loads an Explorer
window opens with the portable apps start menu shortcut, among
others. Do you know of a way to have the PA start menu load
automatically?

Comments...

I moved to Portable Apps and Truecrypt traveler yesterday when I
discovered that I was living with a false sense of security, based on
U3 Security's password protection.

I had my U3 plugged in when the power suddenly went off. When the
machine rebooted I could access the U3 drive and all of it's
"protected" files without the U3 password. I then Googled and found a
buch of other security holes. Thank God for that power outage.

Windows 7 Disabled Autoplay

Autoplay is removed from Windows 7 for security reasons. What you include in autorun.inf (TrueCrypt Traveler) isn't even shown in the option menu.

The partition inside Truecrypt ignores autorun.inf. At least it used to. I don't know a way around this.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Machine id check holds

When you authorize U3 to run on a particular machine that authorization holds until you remove the stick. That's by design not a hole. If you don't want a machine to have continued access to your U3 drive unplug the USB stick (Safely Remove preferably) when your done using it or the pc.
