Could Not read The file

Hi,

I am using the portable versions of firefox and thunderbird for a long time already and I am very happy and thankfull of the work of John T Haller in this field. Since I am travelling soon, i wamted to update my USB Stick with the latest version of the portable App Suite. However the download links from this website pointing to Sourceforge was no successfull at all. I always received the errormessage: Could not read the file!! I tried it with every possible downlaod link, but all were unsuccessfull and received the same answer!

What happened?

I am looking forward to receiving your kind and updated answerto this issue!

Many Thanks and Regards,

Bleckie

PS In The meantime I searched Sourceforge for the single Apps one by one!

What a pity that the Links on this website do not waork at all!

Hmm

Probably a SourceForge issue.
Try them again.

SourceForge Has Some Issues

SourceForge has issues from time to time. That's just the way it is. But that's the only way I can get free download bandwidth for the apps. The alternative is me paying $15,000 a month out of my own pocket... which isn't going to happen.

And please don't make snide comments like "What a pity that the Links on this website do not waork at all!" You know very well that the links work just fine for hundreds of thousands of people most of the time. Making comments like that is just plain lame, especially when you're dealing with a site that's making apps available to you for free.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Sourceforge

may have issues, but it hosts thousands of projects, for free and supports a lot of developers.
On a side note, has anyone except me noticed the Google Code Hosting?
