Chrome : edit proxy settings

Hi,

I just want to use chrome as a portable app, but I can't neither edit proxy settings nor connect to internet, whether it is possible with Portable FF...

Any tip ?

System settings

Chrome uses the system settings. So if Internet Explorer works, Chrome will work. And if IE doesn't, Chrome won't.

Yes, portable FF can edit

Yes, portable FF can edit proxy settings independent of the system settings. I wish Chrome was like that too.

Probably Won't Happen

Chrome is very tied to IE and uses the local system proxy, certificate store and uses the local system to encrypt passwords.
