Notepad++ (and the illusive spell check)

HTML is probably the most used electronic file on Earth! Every web page is built from the HTML format, and there are trillions of web pages! And of course, the most logical tool in any word creation program is spell check; the ABC’s of any word software program! Now, following this simple logic, you would think that every program that could open and/or edit any HTML file would (naturally) have a spell check function, right? Wrong! It is analogous to a company (lets say, like Google) building a web browser (lets call it Chrome) that does not interface with another of their very own bookmarking products (lets say, Google bookmarks)! Now, who would ever think to do that, right? Indeed! And so, we have (Microsoft’s) Notepad, the standard for opening, viewing and editing HTML files, which lacks the very, most rudimentary of all word functions (yep, spell check), and so, someone had a great idea - an idea, which would be analogous to putting an auto-pop-up function on a toaster; something a working human brain could conger up during a drunken stupor – and that is, let us put a spell checker in a program (Notepad) that holds more words than all other programs on Earth collectively (something equal to the library of congress, times a gazillion)! And they called it Notepad ++!! Great, if you use it on a desktop, but what about us portable people? And so, thank God, they made it portable, so that it could go with you (https://portableapps.com/apps/development/notepadpp_portable)! Alas, but yet again, they forgot the damned spell check! Doesn’t it just make you want to pull hairs? It does me! I loaded the latest, most up-to-date portable Notepad++ (5.8.1), and guess what? Yep! The spell check doesn’t work! Damn! I put in on 5 different flash drives (2 Sandisk, HP, Kingston, Xporter): All I ever get when I hit the spell check icon is -

Aspell and/or dictionaries are missing:
Download missing files here
http://aspell.net/win32
If Aspell is already installed, do correction
of relative path to aspell-15.dll and restart.

And of course, none of these things actually work; the best you get is the spell checker opening with this same fix-it window over top of it, close one, they both close. In other words, you cannot spell check in Notepad++ portable on a flash drive, so far! Damn! Are there any geniuses out there who can make this work, for sure, on a portable, now & forever?

Did you try searching the forums for an answer?

A search for "notepad++ aspell" found this solution:
https://portableapps.com/node/24992

Although this solution works, it does not appear to solve the problem when there is a copy of Aspell installed on the host computer (the portable version of notepad++ will use/modify the dictionary on the host computer instead of the one on the flash drive)
