Have not been successful in installing Google Chrome as it begins to install normally then proceeds to download the balance of the install TWICE, gets within 8kb of the proper total, hangs, then reports it is not fully installed and ends the install.
The installer leaves a link in the launcher that is non-functional as well.

It attempts to re-download if the first download fails due to a dropped connection or corrupted file download. Try clearing your IE cache and rebooting the PC.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
