If I understand correctly, Portable Java, and Java Portable Launcher are limited in what they can run.
Can they run third-party Java apps?
Asking because I just came across an app called "Data Crow" that requires Java 1.6 or higher.
Its FAQ says it is portable:
"Data Crow does not rely on the registry and only writes files to the sub folders of the Data Crow installation directory. You do not even have to use the installer. You can simply download the zipped version and unpack this in the desired location".
Also, "I would recommend not to install Data Crow in the Program Files folder".

Can Portable Java be set-up somehow to run Data Crow?
Thanks

Thanks Chris,
I never thought to search for [obscure app's] name. My oops.
