How/when do apps get added to the directory?

How/when do apps get added to the directory?

I'm confused. I've added a post to the Apps Ready For Official Release, Post Here thread expecting that the app would be added to the Portable App Directory but there was no follow-up. So I looked at some of the older posts and I don't see any of those apps in the directory either.

Is anyone monitoring that thread? How are we supposed to publish our portable apps?

Backlog

We have a backlog of apps being queued for release. Some need updating as they are in older formats. That topic was actually just trimmed down two weeks ago to de-dupe, remove apps that are already released, etc.

We fast-track apps done by the publishers themselves, though. So, I think we can get yours out in the coming weeks during our December release blitz.

It needs to be final reviewed, scanned for viruses, a page created, screenshots and icon images and added to the database. Then you're given info on how to ping us on new releases (currently email, shortly a simple file on your server we will monitor). You can help speed the process by creating the two different sized screenshots of it running on Windows 7 we use (800x600 and 200x150) and the 3 icon images (alpha transparent PNGs of 128px, 75px and 16px) as well as the simple summary and feature list and emailing it to the business email address on the contact page.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Understand about the backlog. I just didn't see any activity so got worried that perhaps I was in the wrong place.

Great to hear that I qualify for fast-track Smile I will take care of the screen shots and icons and forward them on.
