PortableApps [Cellphone SD Card Version]

My request is, at best, more of a modification of the existing menu. Basically, I wish to utilize the directories of my cellphone-formatted SD Card with the PortableApps Menu. If I could get a version that allowed me to change the directory links [e.g., Documents, Music, Pictures, etc.] to a custom folder location, that would be great!

Here's the typical layout [at least for Verizon]
Root
-media
-my_Flix [Videos]
-my_music [Music]
-my_pix [Pictures]
-My_sounds

Would this be too much trouble?

Soon

In an upcoming release, you'll be able to customize the locations and names of these directories in the PA.c Menu. These will be used by Platform-aware apps as well.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

does it work ?

in a phone? What operating system has such phone? Or is it a kind of virtual machine in it or emulating or how do you use it actually?

SD Card used on PC

This is purely speculation on my part but I think that the OP merely uses the SD card on a PC, not on the phone itself. However, the SD card has some directories created by the phone that he/she wishes to use in conjunction with portable apps being used on a PC.

nice to sync files that way...

if the catagories can be setup to mirror.

Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.

I did a bit of looking, and

I did a bit of looking, and found that Geek.Menu has the capability to change the directories by editing English.Locale [..\PortableApps\geekMenu\App\Locale\english-us.locale]. You can add the following to make it work:

[FORM_MAIN]
LOCATION_DOCUMENTS=$HOSTDRIVE$:\media
LOCATION_MUSIC=$HOSTDRIVE$:\my_music
LOCATION_PICTURES=$HOSTDRIVE$:\my_pix
LOCATION_VIDEOS=$HOSTDRIVE$:\my_Flix

I did it with the G.M install on the SD card, I'm using, and it worked pretty well. But personally I like PA better, as it's smoother, and not as... old!!

Could this work for PA, also, since Geek.Menu is an ancient branch of PA? [..\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\App\Locale\english.locale]

@John T.Haller: I'm assuming that PA will have an "Advanced Settings" feature? Coolness! Looking forward to whatever you got in store for us!

@ottosykora: DarkBee pretty much nailed it! I use PA on my laptop, but wish to use the directories that my phone saves pics, vids, and sounds to.
