Since a longer time I use the Platform from the Website [link removed by mod JTH] instead of the PortableApps.com Platform. The reason for my personal decision is, that in the Platform of [link removed by mod JTH] I can integrate the software in several categories (Internet, Multimedia, Graphics, System, Security, Office, Utility and Extra). I my opinion is this GUI better and clearly arranged as the PortableApps.com Platform. What about with a little change of the GUI of the PortableApps.com Platform in this direction?
Best regards tapsklaps

Categories are coming in the next beta of the 2.0 release here.
The site you linked to actually just takes software from here and other portable sites and packages them with ASuite, often in violation of trademark licensing. ASuite is an open source menu written by someone else. The graphical version of ASuite is actually based on the PortableApps.com Menu and duplicates the dimensions and layout. You can use ASuite directly with our apps without having to deal with the packaging sites changes or you can use the upcoming beta of our platform which automatically uses all our categorization right from the site.
Until the next beta release (which is coming shortly), you can set your most used apps as favorites and they will appear at the top of the menu without the need to scroll. As hardly any users use more than 20 apps regularly, this is usually more efficient than categories. The 2.0 menu will have both categories and favorites that you can use together.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
@John T. Haller: Thank you for your quickly answer and the background knowledge. It`s really so, that in the normal case the PortableApps.com Platform is enough for the number of apps, which a user need. But for all that I`m inquisitive to the next beta release.
