Firefox Portable hates Java?

I need some help. I try to boot a java enabled version of Firefox portable from my Sandisk flash drive, but no matter how I spin it, it won't work! I tried putting it in the data file, the apps file, running it with the java and adobe player already on computer... NOTHING! I'm trying to play RuneScape at work without being tracked on it but I can not for the life of me figure out what I am supposed to do to make Java work!!! Help me please Sad

Unsupported

As stated on the Java Portable homepage, it does not work with Firefox Portable, or any other portable browser for that matter. Firefox can only use the official Java plugin, which only works with a locally installed Java. It can not be altered as it is closed source.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

There is a locally installed

There is a locally installed version of Java on this computer and it works when I boot a web browser from the computer, but it won't recognise it when I boot Firefox portable from my flash drive. Do I need to make file copies?

Take Care!

And for what it's worth, unless you have some secret Internet connection at work that your employers don't know about, no amount of portable apps will get around the fact that you have to use work's Internet connection, and thus they are able to monitor your every move if they so wish. Don't make the mistake of thinking that portable apps put you in a secure bubble such that people cannot know exactly what you're doing. They can, if they want to.

Lol thanks for the warning. I

Lol thanks for the warning. I didn't figure they wouldn't be able to see, just that it would slow them down since they wouldn't expect the protable approach. All the computers have Internet Explorer. I havn't been caught yet... YET lol. I am only seasonal so it's not a matter of losing my job that I'm worried about. Just don't wanna deal with the s*** I'd have to do for entertaining myself between customers.
