Before I explain my issue, I'd like to thank everyone who has put anytime into this project; it has saved me so much time.
Anyway, I use Google Chrome Portable at my school and I have it saved to my network drive. I'd like to be able to sync this to my computer flawlessly, just as it does when I install it normally. It syncs normally up to a certain point, when I switch computers. The credentials are not being saved and when I resync, all of my deleted apps and extensions are re-added.

This problem still persists on chrome portable 9. It won't save the login data of google chrome sync.
When you move it to a different computer, you have to log in sync again. Perhaps these settings are stored in the registry? Anyway, it's very annoying since i (ugh) use it as a portable app, so on several computers.
I believe that you can solve this problem by enabling Portable Passwords.
