Hello all.
GnuCash 2.4.0 was released on December 21 (2010) and I was wondering how long would it take to make it portable?
Anyone has any idea on tips on how to?
I think this application might be hard to be made portable... because of the registry entries and so...
I think the author of the latest portable version here (Shawn Faucher) hasn't been active for a while, so I did not know where else to ask.

It will be released when it is ready. It's already on the list, so it's already in the queue. There aren't any major things you'll notice between the current portable version and 2.4.0. Shawn is busy with other things, so I'll be building it myself.

Did not know there was a "pending" list
I'm also eagerly looking forward to this. Quite a few bugs have been fixed since 2.2.9 and so I definitely want to be working with the latest version.
