Get Sudoku Portable 1.0 has been released. Get Sudoku is an interactive sudoku solver. It helps you figure out the possible values for a puzzle based on the numbers already filled in. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.
PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.

Get Sudoku is an interactive sudoku solver. You select numbers in each square as you know what they are. The surrounding squares will adjust and only show the possible numbers remaining.

Helps you solve?
Doesn't this take the fun out of sudoku? The point is to solve it yourself, not have someone or something else do it for you. This is almost as bad as the Android phones able to take a picture of the board and solve the whole thing for you.
Options
For some people stuck on a paper puzzle or an electronic one in another program, this can help them figure out their options. It can also be handy for learning the logic behind solving a sudoku in your head.
