VLC: minimize to tray?

Was curious if it's possible to minimize the VLC player to the system tray. Could not turn up any definitive information while googling for this topic on the web.

This is not portable VLC related

This is a general VLC issue, not related to Portable VLC. Ask in the VLC forums.
