I wanted to bring my online games along with my thumbdrive, like MapleStory. I know they cannot be portablized due to admin power so I've found QEMU Manager, a GUI for QEMU.
The installation of a stripped down windows xp (microxp, yes, i know its illegail but many users use it) took about 30minutes in QEMU Manager while a real computer takes 5minutes.
It is still laggy when i download firefox, like the whole computer is dying. (KQEMU is not activated)
When i use a mac QEMU GUI, iQEMU, it is faster, slight jerk here and there, but it have colour problems, no internet(host have), and cannot load disk.
So i think that the GUI makes a difference. And i checked out QtEMU, and virt-manager, another GUI. They seem promising, but i cant check their speeds, which is a problem.
If anyone can test for me if its very slow without KQEMU, please post it here.
For virt manager testers, you can check if 3 fps(frame per second) makes a difference.
Any comments are welcome.
And no, portable virtualbox(vbox.me) needs admin to run it.

doesnt matter. Ive found the problem. Its with the host hardware, which slows my qemu manager.
