I tried another users installer and Norton Declared it Had a Virus

I contacted the publisher [joshmadison.com]about making this a portable app mod Chris and he email me back that as long as the software was not modified I could make it portable with the installer.
so I have no idea that placing a link to a installer was "illegal redistribution".
Also Yes the other uploaders software did pop-up with a virus on three of my PCs.

If you have permission, then mention it in the topic. We have no idea whether or not you have permission otherwise.
EDIT: Either way, it doesn't matter in that case. Someone is already developing this. If you have something to report, then report it.
thanks, I did look up convert to see if any were doing this and found none for the program. This is why I tried to make it. thanks for your reply.

Btw. search for convert brought up this as second item... [edit: sorry, just found out it is the same link as in your opening post. More confusing, though]
And if you had forgotten, Devo made a reply to your request 2 1/2 years ago (third item in search list...).
But as you have the permission - maybe it is an idea to simply ask Devo if you could take that over and make it an integrated installer...
