Nice

Regshot clean so far apart of some usual windows mrus (winxp sp3 admin).
This is a nice addition. Now I could ditch dia for creating mindmaps!
Thanks.

Installer Checking Name

Oh, sorry, I never mind Installer checking the name of itself. You can simple remove the text: "_Development_Test_1" in file name or wait me update the binary.

mrus

I got the mrus as well. Is that something that needs to be fixed? Seems to me that an mru named "xmind" kinda demonstrates that it has been run.

Ignore them

It's nothing to fix - Windows creates them automatically.

My posts are old and likely no longer relevant.

Java Error Message

---------------------------
Xmind
---------------------------
A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK)
must be available in order to run Xmind. No Java virtual machine
was found after searching the following locations:
E:\zz_downloads\__Portable\xmind\CommonFiles\Java\bin\javaw.exe
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

It looks like the launcher uses an absolute path instead of a relative path?

Relative

It's relative to where you have XMindPortable installed. If you have the XMindPortable in X:\PortableApps, then Java should be in X:\PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java\bin\javaw.exe

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Ah, grrr, I should have known

Ah, grrr, I should have known this. Sometimes, I extract a paf installer into a temporary location on my HDD to have a look at it before wearing my SSD. And of course, CommonFiles/Java are on the SSD but not in the temporary location.
Thanks for that, problem solved. Smile

New version

They are currently up to version 3.3 (or 2012). I would love to see this in PAF.

Xmind is now up to version 3

Xmind is now up to version 3.6.1. Not sure if it also had a name change to Xmind7 somewhere along the way. Does anyone know if it's possible to run this as a portable app?
