Bluefish 2.0.3

Bluefish is a powerful editor targeted towards programmers and webdesigners, with many options to write websites, scripts and programming code. Bluefish supports many programming and markup languages, and it focuses on editing dynamic and interactive websites. See features for an extensive overview, take a look at the screenshots, or download it right away. Bluefish is an open source development project, released under the GNU GPL licence.

Layout template

Please adjust your post to the Development test layout template and name your app as Development test. It greatly simplifies reading and testing Dev tests as all needed information is in place where expected. I will have a look at your dev test as Bluefish seems a great editor.
Will post feedback later.
Thanks, dj

btw. please ask Zach Thibeau if he would pass this app to you or if he is willing to further develop it as he has done a Dev test before (here). It's impolite at best to hijack another ones development even if by accident. Wink

Completely broken!
It crashes with "Could not execute C:\Programme\Bluefish\bluefish.exe (Error=2 MyPID=3984)" and leaves a hell of data in %AppData% and in the registry.
And it is not even roughly compliant to PAF specifications.
What did you do to make it portable? There is nothing but a big file in the AppNamePortable directory and a rudimentary folder structure with not much info. Did you use something like thinapp?

Already Asked

I did a universal request for devs to update apps to the latest version and latest layout a few months ago. Any apps not updated (the old release is two years out of date) are now fair game.

Ah, ok. I missed that, sorry.

Reading my post, I realize it might sound a bit rude, too. Apologies for that...

Seems Highly Suspect

According to the Bluefish Website and Sourceforge the latest release of this software is 2.02, so where on earth does version 2.03 come from.

I'm certainly not prepared to download it

Is This Project Alive?

Another broken link for downloading Bluefish Portable. Is this project viable?
