About a year ago, I bought a SanDisk Cruzer. The first thing I did was format it and remove the U3 software and replace it with PA. This morning I read an article about how great U3 is so I re-installed it on my drive out of curiosity. That lasted all of 30 minutes (mostly because U3 is so slow that I couldn't remove it faster).
I've ran the removal tool and reformatted my drive...twice. But I still feel a little dirty. My PA is restoring right now, maybe I'll feel better once it's all back.
In the mean-time, yet another hearty, well deserved THANK YOU to John and all of the devs that make PortableApps possible. I've been a user for over a year and can't imagine computing without it.

U3 is dead. There's not even U3.com site anymore.
And yet CCleaner is STILL released in that format, yet no PAF. Drives me batty.
