Bug? CDex ID3 tags

i've only used it to 're-encode' 320kbps mp3s to 192kbps mp3s. when it does, the ID3 tags of the created files are in chinese or something. i'm looking for a setting for this somewhere but haven't found one that affects this behavior. My language is set to english in Cdex.

fair enough, this was 6 years

fair enough, this was 6 years ago - and nobody answered. but now that i used the latest CDex version only yesterday again, i got he same: all tag characters are chinese, even the one i had put in manually before the ripping. anybody any idea what the latest 'up-'date did to achieve this? it certainly did not happen (to me) before.

greetings - heinz -

Publisher Question

This would be a question for the publisher of the app. We just launch it portably. As it's freeware now, we can't even look at the source to figure out what's up anymore.

Not responsive

With that said, good luck getting an answer from the publisher - we've contacted them multiple times without response.

had tried also the publisher and other sources, and looked for a user forum - negative. only then did i ask my question here, i thought i might not be the only one using it - and having the same problem.

I had the same Problem.
The Trick is to change the Tags to only "ID3V2" this works fine

Hope it helps someone that finds this article
