Usage of Search Engines in qBittorrent Portable

In the actual release I can't use the feature of the Search Engine Tab, because no search engines are integrated in the app. Therefore it's necessary, that at first I download some search engines frome the website http://plugins.qbittorrent.org. In order to maintain the portability of the program, I would create a folder called "Search Engine " in the Data directory, in which I put the appropriate search engines. By clicking the Search engines button at the bottom-right of the search engine tab, I can access the search engine plugin management system. From this dialog I can install new search engine plugins. But is also guaranteed, that not affected by this installation the portability?

EDIT: I find the following folder, which contains some *.py files: D:\portable_Programme\PortableApps\qBittorrentPortable\Data\settings\LocalAppData_qBittorrent\nova\engines. And does qBittorrent Portable's searching ability require a local installation of Python? Probably yes, because on my machine I can't install a search engine and I haven't a local installation of Python. And probably qBittorrent Portable don't have a Python Interpreter.

anyone else figure out a way to portabalize the search plugins? Or is another torrent here that keeps the search plugins with the app?

Unsupported

As stated on the qBittorrent Portable homepage, it is unsupported. It requires a full installation of Python (on the local machine, it does not support a portable one) as well as other machinations to support. There is a test version in the forums, but it is incomplete.

parsing a sentace

I was going to say I did read it all but then realized I probably glossed over the line: "Integrated search engine (adding new sites is not currently supported)"

But then I realized I read it all but glossed over the 2nd part because I thought the 1st part meant that it would have (at least one)search engines included in the program.

I have never used a torrent, so when clicking the search tab button, I thought there would be a default one already installed, as opposed to nothing being installed.

Like some other apps that deal with recommended plugins, could we have a link to the python plugin or something similar? I thought we had another app that also had something similar in that it pointed either to an "outside download needed/required" or somesuch?

Doesn't Work

As already stated, it doesn't work portably. Period. Python has to be installed on the local machine for it to work.

I thought a couple were included originally and did work but additional ones were unsupported. If that's not the case, I'll update the description. It's a minor feature as you can just open your web browser and search that way.

none are included ...

which was why I was confused as to which search engine was intergrated in the qbittorrent portable.
And yeah, it was easy to do a search and install them on my own.

Thanks for the future updating of the description.
