How to change Cache location?

How to change Cache location?

I would like to change Cache location from %FxPortable%/Data/Profile/Cache to %temp%.
Default about:config pref that does that - it doesn't work on portable Fx. Please, help.

but what for?

the aim of the portable version is not to use the local drive if possible and not store anything if possible, so I think using cache is meant more for the local installed version and not for portable. Caching everything on the harddrive makes not much sense for portable version.
