Make more Microsoft aplications portables

I hope that the developers make portable apps of Microsoft Windows Software: Internet Explorer 8-9 and Windows Media Player 11. Also apps portables of Macintosh Apple as Quick Time, iTunes and Safari Browser. That's all folks. Sad

Can't be done legally

If you use the search facility on this site you'll find lots of discussions about the Apps you've mentioned, all of which come to the following brief conclusion:

It would be illegal as the current Licence terms prevent it and the companies concerned will not give permission for their software to be modified, or to be distributed in anything but the original form.

have we even tried?

Has anyone on this site even tried to ask for permission? Surely we could work out some terms that they could agree to.

Not sure

that anyone has that much money but I am sure no one would object if you got permission

Surely PA.c doesn't have that kind of money.

If you've been following the status reports, you would know that PA.c doesn't even have enough money from donations to cover the bandwidth costs; John has to pay some out-of-pocket to keep things going. He is going to try selling some branded items to make up the difference, but it's never going to come near the amount of money that he'd need to negotiate with Microsoft.
Companies like Microsoft and Apple don't just give software rights away. They are big business, and the software you are talking about represents millions of dollars to them. They aren't going to give it away, or let it out of their control.
Even if PA.c had more money and the world's greatest negotiator, the amount of effort it would take is just not worth it, because we already have free, open source apps that does everything that these apps do.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
