The publisher has forbidden others from using his trademark "Sweet Home 3D" so there are no legal portable versions to my knowledge.
Hi John & Chris,
Maybe I have misread what is written on the Sweet Home 3D forum reply?
My impression is that you have been given permission to use "Sweet Home 3D" as long as it remains "Sweet Home 3D" and you don't modify it to "Sweet Home 3D Portable" or other variations, plus as long as all licenses agreements and correct references are included?
The issue is that we need to add bits to the app when we repackage it for portable use and I don't think the publisher will permit that and allow the name to remain. In short, it *has* to be modified to be portable, but modified versions aren't permitted to use the trademark. Catch 22.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

and asked them if I could have permission to redistribute Sweet Home 3D including trademarks.
Refer to my portable version.

I hope in the future, the developer checks out the site and realizes how odd his requests are, given the other apps here.

We are not willing to comply with the requirements that Puybaret has placed as they currently stand.
