I spent hours making those flow charts. Good times.

Nostalgia

A healthy dose of nostalgia does you good. I recommend two spoonfuls per day!

tested

The program runs absolutely fine, but the following file is added to the system, and not removed after closing the app:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\inpout32.sys

Also a number of registry keys under
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\inpout32\
and
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\inpout32\
referring to this file are not removed.

The following keys are also left behind:

HKU\S-1-5-21-1606980848-884357618-1644491937-1004\Software\BASIC-256 Consortium\BASIC-256 IDE\Main\Size: "@Size(691 537)"

Thought you might want to know this.

Forgot to mention I'm using Windows XP SP3, with administrator rights.

I am currently the maintainer

I am currently the maintainer of the main trunk of this appliction and just released a Development Test. The full portable app should be ready to go soon, but the test is working much better than that previous attempt.

See http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/basic256prtbl for the latest download
