2. when i have more than 1 widget opera start only the first widget

I hope the first point will be fixed.

Unless I musunderstand

what is going on is that Opera saves the Widget files within the Opera folders but creates a shortcut on the system.
just delete the shortcut.

no idea about that one

http://my.opera.com/community/forums/ is a good place to ask those kinds of questions.

An Opera thing?

Opera have a very narrow view of what they are interested in answering in their forums, I have a feeling after several tries that problems in relation to OperaPortable is not one of them - so if anybody in this forum has some solution to the widget problem, please post here.

Some things I found.

I found in this folder: x:\PortableApps\OperaPortable\Data\profile\widgets widgets.dat, an XML file that gives information to the browser about the widget. I'm looking into a way to change this to run the widgets from the flash drive.
The default place that Opera saves widgets is in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local for windows. There is also some prefrences for the widgets here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Opera . Last but not least, there is a temp folder that contains write information for Opera. C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\nsiA242.tmp . I was also looking to change this.
If anyone can find a way to change that XML file so that it runs widgets from a specified location, please tell. I've tried the method mentioned in this thread: http://my.opera.com/opera-usb/forums/topic.dml?id=449271 , without success, but you may want to try their portable version of Opera for running widgets. Good luck.
