Pidgin Messenger - iPad App?

I have an iPad, and would like to use the messenger.
Is there an App for this?

It's not designed for running on iPads; it'll run on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, but that's about all.

Plus, Pidgin is released under the GPL. So, like VLC Media Player that was pulled from the iTunes store for GPL violations, Pidgin is unlikely to ever be released for iOS even if someone took the time to port it.
