Maxthon 3.0.24.1000 does not use current drive for "Quick save images". It just uses the last path set.

This has been reported before (though not in its own thread, so this is good).
The settings file which includes this setting is encrypted (or at least it was in the last version I looked at) thus there is (currently) no way to make the Launcher keep it updated.
To fix this the Maxthon Dev's either need to have a separate non-encrypted settings file for the settings that aren't confidential (and/or need to be updated by the Launcher), or they need to add some mechanism to update them into Maxthon itself, or (best-case scenario) they could add Relative Path support.
Hopefully this gets fixed relatively soon.
