Should App Updater be picking up Opera 11.50 Beta 1 and installing it if I am on Opera 11.11?

Update keeps missing it somehow.

I'm using Portable Apps Version 2 Beta 5 Pre 2.

no

there are several "channels". One is for stable releases (currently 11.11), one is for beta releases (currently 11.50 Beta 1). The updater will update stable with stable and beta with beta releases.
