I use Fileamigo 7.3 and it calls Iron Portable (on a stick) when it screens a report (HTML), problem is if it calls IP from shut then IP crashes on startup, however if I open IP and then call it from FA 7.3 then all is fine? Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FileAmigo is probably launching iron.exe, not IronPortable.exe, so Iron's trying to start without its launcher. Depending on the application, running without the launcher can do anything from affecting portability to losing settings to losing important components. In Iron Portable's case, running without the launcher means several important files won't be moved from Data to the proper location, and Iron crashes.
When Iron Portable is already running, the launcher is running, and it's already done all of its setup (file moving, etc.) when FileAmigo calls Iron.
If you can, try changing FileAmigo to launch IronPortable.exe, not Iron.exe.
