Next version to be released?

I was just curious as to what the next version of LibreOfficePortable will be. Can we expect a 3.4.x version next, or is the intention that the portable version will stick to the 3.3.x releases? Also (probably asking the impossible) can someone indicate more or less when we can expect the next portable version? Just a rough guess (accurate to within a month) would suffice.

For early adopters

3.4.x is intended for "early adopters" (see our list of outdated apps).

IIRC, its not '3.4.x' that's

IIRC, its not '3.4.x' that's for 'early adopters', but '3.4.0'
They said they will be releasing a bugfix release a month after its release. I'm guessing that means 3.4.1.

I could be wrong, I read about it the first day 3.4 was released.

3.4.?

Well, I think it's a bit more complicated than that. It seems as if TDF has opted for a more-or-less date driven release schedule: they plan to release often and recommend a version for everyday use when they find that all the showstopper bugs have been fixed. So it may be 3.4.1, 3.4.2 or even 3.4.3.
You also have to take into account the fact that TDF plans to release not only 3.3.3, but also 3.3.4 and 3.3.5...

3.3.3

This new version is out. I guess the folks at portableapps are already working on it.
I really do also think that portableapps should wait for 3.4.1 or 3.4.2 before switching to 3.4.x releases

3.4 is more like a beta in stability

If you read the release notes for 3.4, you will see that it's pretty seriously buggy. IMHO, TDF should have kept it as beta until the bugs are worked out.
"For Early Adopters" kinda feels like they are inventing a new development/release level that is really unnecessary.
Early adopters are basically the same people that go for beta versions, anyway.

LibreOffice 3.3.3 is out

The version nomenclature is unnecessarily confusing, but from the description it is clear that 3.3.3 is the latest what would be called stable release by most projects. It is claimed to be a stability and security upgrade over 3.3.2.

Hopefully a portable version of 3.3.3 is in the offing.

In Progress

The build is in progress and will be sent to The Document Foundation for hosting in the next 48 hours.

3.4.1 released

not beta or 'early adopter'

Will 3.4.0 be skipped in favor of catching up to latest?
