Mirnda or GAIM

which do you think is better? I personally only have a MSN account if anyone wants to know.

which one should i use, and why?

Depends...

on what you want. Gaim is great messenger for a standalone client, but have found that it did crash often (this was the older version btw, havn't tried the new one), and not as customisable as Miranda. Miranda on the other hand i have found to be fantastic once configured correctly.

It is fully skinable, hundreds of plugins and found it very stable (though I had to update msn.dll file from the most recent nightly build as it kept loggin me off). If you like to customise your programs with plugins and skins, you cant really go past Miranda. Plus it supports nearly all protocols.

Best advice is try them both, and see which one you like, thats what i did.
