Portable Apps Suite: selection of apps possible

I'm a newbie regarding to PortableApps.

On this site you provide the "Portable Apps Suite". I would like to know whether one can select the applications one wants to have installed or does one need to install all the applications provided in the suite ?

All

You have to get them all.
If you are concerned about size, try the light version.

Actually

Using a PHP script on the server with a command-line version of 7-zip, John might be able to make a script that does that.
What do you think John?

Nope

Can't afford the bandwidth to support direct downloads. I'm already paying US$750 a month. Hosting the downloads would be about $15,000 to $20,000 a month on the current provider. I'm exploring some options for the future when some funding comes in, though.

I have a suggestion

If you host your stuff on http://www.freewebs.com or maybe [big maybe since I don't know much about it] on http://www.photobucket.com you might be able to pull off all you need without paying a lot month to month. I have my own website set up on Freewebs and it doesn't seem they have any limitations.

I doubt it

Sites would probably ban you completely if you were using a lot of bandwidth like that.
Anyway, John doesn't need webspace, he just needs a place to host the files. SourceForge is the best for that.

okay. Was only suggesting... I guess its pretty dumb of me to even bother checking to see if there was anybody I could help out here in the forums. I never said he needed webspace. I was suggesting what I was because they don't seem to care how much you host on them. Thank you for mentioning Sourceforge. I discovered them today.

Or...

delete the apps you don't need from the full version. Probably easier to download the lite version or the apps seperately.
