Portable Apps OS

This has been discussed a few times before, and while generally we would advise that you search before asking questions like this, some of the answers to this question are not easy to find. Here is one.

If you want a portable OS, you can try using Linux on your flashdrive, or you can try a virtual desktop environment such as BlackBox, EmergeDesktop, etc.. You should search the forums before you post next time because this same exact subject has come about before!
