First I want to thank everyone that has contributed to this great project.
Now, my query: because Miranda Port opens so quickly, the splash screen seems pointless and just covers up the login window that opens up at nearly the same instant. How does one go about disabling it?

It's in the ini file options. There's an example INI file within Other\MirandaPortableSource in your MirandaPortable directory. You can find a readme.txt in there that explains this as well.
