Miranda: IM doesn't keep settings :-(

Miranda: IM doesn't keep settings :-(

Dears

I try to configure my portable Miranda exactly just the way I have it installed on my PC. The trouble is, it doesnt keep any settings.. neither the acounts' info nor the icons settings bounded to protocols . Whenever I restart it, it goes to defoult settings.
Any ideas why?

This is my only problem with portable miranda. The icons revert to default when the drive letter changes.

Is there a way to change the path to the icon dll files so that it is a relative path rather than an absolute path? I am certain this would remedy the problem.

Or is there something obvious that I'm missing? I went over the settings carefully before posting this, but I am not infallable...
