no use of jPortable

Is the remark to the Known Issues in the support yet applicable, that Firefox currently requires a local JVM? Or can I now use the portable version jPortable?

Yes

It still stands.

reason for my request

Thank you for your immediate response. I have found out, that at the moment I can't use a certain Jave-enabled website with my currently installed local JRE 7.0. However, this problem occurs only in connection with the Firefox browser. Also on another PC with OS Windows XP Home I noticed the same problem. With JRE 6 Update 26 it works fine.
