I am wondering how can I keep my settings for my platform? Every time I turn on my computer and open up my portable apps platform I have to reset my settings the way I want it.

How are you ejecting your drive? Are you safely ejecting it using the Eject feature built into the platform? Or are you using something like EjectUSB which basically crashes the platform before ejecting the drive?

Actually I never have eject the platform. I would just shutdown my computer and the next time I start my computer I launch the platform and everything is at default. Should I eject it first?
You have to close the platform before shutting down. The app isn't yet windows shutdown aware. And apps that aren't, windows just crashes so it can't save its settings.
