Im trying to run Googlechrome from my network share at university, eg. "hdave (//cifs-g.its.deakin.edu.au)(H:)", it runs but all i get is a blank page.
It doesn't navigate to any website or settings page.
Can this be fixed in a new release?

PortableApps does not support running any of their apps from UNC paths.
While some apps may work that way, many others won't. It is not the fault, or is it fixable, by PortableApps, but is instead an issue with the base app in most cases.
There are some slight differences in how networks drives are treated which don't affect most apps, but with a very few they get broken; Google Chrome is one such app, and we can't do anything about it.
