Hi
I have been trying to download XAMPP light.
The link on PortableApps for it is sending me to http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html#646
But there is no link for XAMPP light (28mb). All 3 links there seem to be for full (not lite) version and much larger files.
Am I missing something? Where could I get the light-weight version of XAMPP?

Near the top of the page you linked to there is a SourceForge link ("Download older versions of XAMPP (even the "old" WAMPP) directly from SourceForge"). If you use that link and then click on "1.7.3" entry you can find a download link for xampplite-win32-1.7.3.exe (29.9 MB). At present there is no download link for the lite version of XAMPP 1.7.4.

If there is no download link for the lite version, I am wondering why it's mentioned in PortableApps!!
That page is simply outdated.
Previously known as kAlug.
I suspect the version number was updated from 1.7.3 to 1.7.4 on the PortableApps.com page but nobody checked that the lite version existed for the 1.7.4 release.
According to the XAMPP Support Forum 1.7.4 Lite has not been released yet. There are some topics in the XAMPP Support Forum discussing ways to make your own lite version of 1.7.4.
In the BETAS directory for XAMPP (at SourceForge) there are several beta versions of "XAMPP Win32 1.7.5 USB Lite" but I don't know when 1.7.5 will be released.
