virus detected in many apps !?

I donwloaded many apps from this site. I installed Rising anti virus software. it detected lots of virus, trojan, worms etc. I don't remember what it detected. But are the apps on the site safe? It is said that more than 90% of Android apps aren't safe. Or maybe the technology used for making apps portable is like in the crack ware, which is against by anti virus software for anti-pirated?

False positives or from something else

None of our software has ever been infected with any malware (by which I mean when we release it—it is possible for it to become infected by other software after installation). This could be false positives—read https://portableapps.com/support#false_positive—or it could be something else infecting your computer (possibly also infecting our software on your computer).

Having that high a hit rate

Having that high a hit rate would mean one of two things to me, a) your computer is infected and that is why the files are infected, or b), since I have never heard of it before, Rising AV reports way too many false positives.

Before reporting virus issues with the files here you should always submit them to Virus Total first. You will usually find it is a false positive and can be safely ignored, unless Virus Total says otherwise.

False Positives

These are likely false positives. Check for yourself using VirusTotal, Jotti, or another online scanner if you're not sure. Then, report the false positives to Rising-global using whatever method they provide for doing so.
