[Suggestion] Should check if already installed before "Get More Apps"

if already installed, then make the checkbox grey and uncheckable.

Should check if already installed on the directory before "Get More Apps":

if already installed, then make the checkbox grey and uncheckable. (Save internet flows and time)
if already installed but not "up to date", then make the checkbox checked by default and show different version in the column (maybe add in the future?)

Thanks,

Good suggestion, but it is

Good suggestion, but it is already there - in a different way. "Get more Apps" only shows apps that are not installed yet. "Check for updates" only shows installed apps that are not up to date.
It'd be a good idea to integrate both programs into one window somehow. That could give another option: Checkbox to install, Checkbox to update and Checkbox to reinstall (in case an installation got corrupted somehow - there is no option to repair such case via the platform for now).

Just like Cygwin

Thanks for your reply. Your comment reminds me about the Cygwin setup manager. They use a list, to choose whether a program should be install, uninstall, reinstall, or rollback to an early version with both latest and a second latest version number provided. Because none of these action should be taken at the same time. Too many checkboxes might be confusing.

BTW: What's the difference between repair and reinstall, technically? User's file included with "repair" but just initialize everything with "reinstall"?

Thanks,
