Windows Portable

To the many people who've asked for a portable version of Windows.... It's in the works here: http://www.everythingusb.com/windows-to-go-21338.html Will it compete with PortableApp.com? Yeah. Will it win? Probably not. Myself, I'm staying here because I trust the apps here "to work". But after all of the negative attention about flash/usb devices, it's good to see something positive mentioned about them. As a PA.c and Live Linux CD user, it's kinda sad to see USB ports turned off or glued up, where they can't be used anymore. But..., I do understand their risks...

Metro

Early reports seem to indicate that this will be a Metro-only experience, that way it can be tied to a Windows Live or corporate account for licensing purposes. Otherwise, it would violate the license of most locally-installed commercial software.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Okay

I didn't read that far into it. I saw it first on the Puppy Linux forum and then at the everything usb website. I figured that if nothing else, it would generate more interest in the portable application, Read: PortableApps, market and drive some potential users here.
