Okay boys and girls, I have already been to Nooskewl and their irc, and PAs' Irc channel no one responded there. The problem, I am on WINXP HOME, 3 Ghz, Geforce 6200, I am running the game from a folder on my desktop after installing it to my usb drive and then copy/paste to the desktop. When I run it, it takes quite a long time, many hours, even went to sleep once, to get to what I think is where you actually gain control, which is in a cell. At the Nooskewl Irc one guy said if I have or get the demo and use a command, -fixed-pipeline, and it helps he could help me, he specifically said not the free version get the demo. Any one have any clues, suggestions or similar problems ?

@VF2NSR: He doesn't actually state that the PortableApps.com Package is the one he's having issues with, but it makes sense since he's asking for help here.
Though there are others he could be talking about (specifically Here, Here & Here).
@DADSGETNDOWN: Is it specific to the PortableApps.com Package? or does it happen with any of These Versions: Free Version, Demo Version, Pay Version

Portable of course, https://portableapps.com/apps/games/monster_2_portable, I am using PA V2.0. Monster 2, not Monster Rpg 2, which they call Monster 2's "Big Brother. What I did notice is that right after I close it, usually 5 or 8 more start right back up or show up running. Even stopping them does no good, or trying to find the one that responds to key presses. Right at the beginning my characters take one step every 3 to 4 seconds.
I figured you were most likely using the PortableApps.com Package.
What I asked was "is it specific to the PortableApps.com Package?" in other words, do you have the same problem if you use one of the other versions (you'll have to install one [or more] to test this) or does this ONLY happen with the version available here.

The way you said it it definitely deserved an answer. As far as a local install, I can't tell you, I don't install anything I don't plan to use a lot or keep for a keep time. I did how ever try the "Windows Zip file (version 2.0, 38MB)" from, the bottom of the page, http://www.nooskewl.com/content/monster-2 and it does the same thing.
In that case, it's an app issue. It could be an issue with the app itself or your 2 computers aren't up to the task of rendering it. It could be that it uses OpenGL and your video cards don't have OpenGL drivers, for instance. Either way, it's not something we can fix portably.

Did you try renaming/deleting the Data folder and re-running the game? I just tried playing it, and I got to the first screen within a couple of minutes.
It did create a new one, Didn't help or change, thanks for the test/suggestion.
