That means that Portable Apps should not have an error message saying that the programs (eg. Assault Cube) can't be run from a UNC folder. I'm sure you can fix this. That will make PAs able to run on a highly restricted library PC.
No portable app here is officially supported for running from UNC paths or mapped drives, and possibly never will be.
While some apps may be able to handle it, others won't, and for the most part there is nothing John or anybody else here could do to fix it. It is usually a restriction of the base app itself, such as in the case of Google Chrome.
